Please refer to the attached video tutorial on Dynamic-Static Combo Documentation Plans on the Dial-N-Document system
Topics Covered Include:
What is a Dynamic-Static Combo Plan?
- When you create a Dynamic Plan and Static Plan connected to a single Call Plan, the system will first prompt the caller to enter the task codes dynamically
- Then the system will ask for a response to any tasks that are on the Static Plan that were not already entered by the caller
- Dynamic and Static Documentation Plans are a great way to provide your caregivers with the efficiency of entering their task codes dynamically (meaning without prompts), but it can also provide a fail-safe so that if a caregiver forgets to enter a code dynamically, the system will prompt them to respond to any additional codes based on the list of static codes that you setup.
Dynamic-Static Combo Documentation Plan Notes:
- To accomplish the Dynamic/Static Combo, you will need to set up two separate Documentation Plans for one Call Plan
- For the material covered in this tutorial, you should already be familiar with Documentation Plans
- Refer to the Documentation Plans Overview for more information
To create a Dynamic and Static Documentation Plan:
- Navigate to Admin>Documentation Plans
- Select an active Call Plan from the Active Call Plans box
- Start by creating the Static Documentation Plan
- Refer to the Static Documentation Plans tutorial for more information on this process
- Add the list of Static codes that you want the caller to respond to over to the Attached Codes box and click Finish
- With the same Call Plan selected, create a Dynamic Plan
- Refer to the Dynamic Documentation Plans tutorial for more information on this process
- Note that Require Codes is not necessary since we created a Static plan to work in conjunction with this Dynamic Plan
- If the caller doesn't enter any codes dynamically, they will still be prompted to enter the codes from the Static Plan
- Opional Plan is only used when combining multilpe Static plans, so it is not necessary for this system configuration
- Validate against Discipline will only allow the caller to enter codes that are valid within their Discipline type, but is optional if using the option below.
- Validate against Static Doc. Plan is an optional checkbox in this configuration
- It is used to block the caller from entering any codes that are not in the Static Documentation Plan
- Verify Employee Response is also optional as it only pertains to a scenario where the caller is entering a numeric value, like mileage or break times, and the system will verify the entry to the caller for approval before proceding
