Mileage Documentation Notes:
- This tutorial covers setting up a Documentation Plan so that your caregivers can document their mileage
- You should have a good understanding of the overall functionality and features of Documentation Plans
- Refer to the Documentation Plans Overview for more information
Setting up the system to document Mileage:
- Navigate to Admin>Employee Groups>Add/Remove Groups by Employee
- Select the Mileage Group and then select the caregivers that you want to document their mileage from the Employees Box and click Add
- Navigate to Admin>Documentation Plans
- Select the active Call Plan that you want to use and then clicl "Add New" from the top of the Active Doc Plans box
- Give the plan a name that you will remember
- Select Mileage for the Code Type so that the system will know to enter Mileage documentation only
- You can choose either Dynamic or Static for the Mode Type, but the most common to use is Static
- Refer to the tutorials on Dynamic and Static Mode Types for more information
- Typically the Call type is set to Start so that the mileage information will be collected as soon as the caregiver get to the patients location, but it can be collected on the End call if desired to have after all errands have been run
- Optional Plan is not used for Mileage Documentation
- Verify Employee Response can be checked for the Mileage documentation so that the system will replay what the caregiver has entered and ask if it is correct before proceding with the documentation
- Click Search in the Available Doc. Codes box and add the desired mileage codes to the Attached Codes box and click Finish
