Please see the attached video tutorial on Dynamic Documentation Plans within the Dial-N-Document system
Topics Covered Include:
Dynamic Documentation Plan Notes:
- Dynamic Documentation Plans are designed so that your callers can manually enter thier documentation by entering codes
- The codes that your callers enter are created by you in your billing and payroll program, and are connected to descriptions that you create
- When using a Dynamic Documentation Plan by itself, meaning not in conjunction with a static plan, the caller will not be prompted for documentation, but can enter any task code that is a valid code in your system
- The system will prompt the call up to three times to enter a task, but if the caller does not enter a task or valid task the visit will be saved regardless of the task was collected
- You should have a good understanding of Documentation Plans before watching this tutorial
- Please refer to the Documentation Plans Overview for more information
To Create a Dynamic Documentation Plan:
- Navigate to Admin>Documentation Plans
- Select an active Call Plan from the Active Call Plans window and select "Add New" to the right of the Active Doc. Plans window
- The Plan Name can be whatever you like as long as it makes sense to you, and the Code Type can be any selection you like
- The Mode Type has to be set to Dynamic for this tutorial
- The Call Type is typically set to "End", but it can be whatever you choose
- If you want to require that the caller enter at least one code, check the "Require Codes" checkbox
- The Optional Plan checkbox is not used for Dynamic Plans
- If you want the system to restric the caller from entering any task codes that are not within their discipline type, you can check the "Validate against Discipline" checkbox
- If you plan to use this Dynamic Documentation Plan in conjunction with a Static Documentation Plan, you would check the "Validate against Static Doc. Plans" checkbox. Otherwise, leave this unchecked.
- This feature is covered in more detail in the Dynamic/Static Documentation Plans Overview
- The checkbox "Verify Employee Response" can be checked when the employee is entering numeric values and you want the system to repeat those entries so that they can be confirmed
