Please refer to the attached video tutorial for a detailed overview of the Groups within the Dial-N-Document system.
Topics Covered Include:
Groups are used to designate collections of employees or clients for various features and/or functionality in your Dial-N-Document system
Examples Include:
- A group may be assigned to a specific call plan
- A group may be assigned to a specific broadcast or text message
- A group may control or restrict certain functionalities in the program
Typically groups are created and managed in your payroll/billing/scheduling software, which may refer to the groups as "teams". Dial-N-Document also lets you manage these groups.
If you understand Employee Groups, you will understand Client Groups as the basic functionality is the same.
Employee Groups:
- Add/Rename Employee Groups enables you to create, rename, or disable a group
- Add/Remove Groups by Employee allows you to assign one or more employees to a specific group
- Note that you are limited to adding 20 employees at a time
- Add/Remove Membership by Group allows you to assign an employee to one or more groups
You may see some "ADM" or admin groups in your Dial-N-Document system.
- These are unique to Dial-N-Document
- You won't see them in your payroll/billing/scheduling software.
- These groups may be used to add limited access to the features within your Dial-N-Document system for specific groups of employees
- ADM groups are optional
Topics that are not specifically covered, but are implied in this tutorial are:
- Add/Rename Client Groups
- Add/Remove Groups by Client
- Add/Remove Membership by Group
