Assigning a Client to a Validator

• Dial-N-Document Validator devices provide true time and attendance verification for locations that do not have a phone associated with the clients for use by field staff

Assigning a Validator to a Client:

• The first step is to ensure that the patient that you will be installing the Validator device for has been added to the Validator Technology group
  • Any patients that you will have a Validator assigned to them will need to be in this group
  • Navigate to Admin>Client Groups
  • Click on Add/Remove Groups by Client
  • Select the Validator Technology group from the Groups box
  • In the bottom left, you will see the current members
  • If you need to add to this members list:
  • Select the Client, or multiple clients, that you would like to assign this Validator to and move them to the bottom right box and then click Add

• Navigate to the Admin>Validator tab
  • Select Assign a Validator to a Client
  • Select the available Validator from the Validators box (or search by serial number) and click Next
  • The Validators in the list will be displayed along with:
    • The Client that it is assigned to
    • It may be left blank
    • It may be considered "Unassigned"
  • Note that the device will be listed multiple times if it has been assigned to multiple clients
    • This may be the case when multiple clients are receiving care at the same location, such as a husband and wife at the same home
  • Select the appropriate device and click Next
  • Search for the client
    • Remember that only clients that are members of the Validator Technology group will show up in the Clients box
  • Select the appropriate client and click Finish

• Note that it is best practice to perform a test call with the Validator you have just assigned, prior to installing it at the client's location
  • This will assure that the Validator has been properly assigned and is working properly before spending time and resources getting it installed on site
